The announcement text:
The Princeton Review is seeking a full time Outreach Manager to work in its Westport, CT office. This person will be responsible for the day-to-day high school and university/college marketing operations, as well as for the overall, long term marketing strategy for the local office and its surrounding territories.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Drive enrollment growth in the high school and university/college markets throughout the area

2. Generate leads and initiate partnerships with high school counselors, universities and corporations

3. Maintain awareness of the activities and presence of competition by analyzing prospect data, demographic information and admissions trends, and market share

4. Develop marketing campaigns as well as integrate retail products throughout all marketing efforts

5. Develop a complete prospect contact plan, from generation of new prospects to conversion into customers; collaborate with Retail Course Marketing Managers to optimize lead generation and conversation efforts

6. Supervise and maintain the outreach budget ensuring the account is neither under nor overspent

7. Research, plan and attend conferences and meetings with national and local organizations

8. Supervise and assist in the record keeping of all marketing activities

9. Develop effective and inventive ways to promote brand awareness in the territory



QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelors Degree

2. A minimum of two years experience, preferably in Sales, Marketing, Public Relations or Advertising

3. Proven management and leadership skills

4. Adaptability, resourcefulness and creative problem-solving skills

5. Superior written and oral communication skills, including public speaking

6. The ability to manage and balance a wide variety of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment under tight time constraints

7. Strong critical thinking, assessment, and analytical skills, and attention to detail

8. A willingness to travel regularly throughout the territory

9. A strong work ethic and drive for results

10. Prior knowledge of standardized admissions tests and/or admissions procedures is preferred
